The Future Of Georgia Is In Your Hands

It's Time To Take Action

All it takes is one issue to mobilize the leader inside of you. What change do you want to make?

The greatest leaders started on their path to satisfy the needs of the communities close to their hearts. To make a change, the so-called average person must be willing to enact it themselves. Others will draw upon their strength and follow their lead as long as they remained determined and rocksteady in their resolve.

You may be that next leader. Ask yourself this question: would you be the best version of yourself if it means the betterment of those around you? If that is your truth, Ready to Lead will help you reach the next level.

Running For Office: The Myths vs. The Facts

Candidates need to have a college degree, or else they won't qualify to run for office.

Candidates do not need to have a college degree to run for public office. While it strengthens a candidate's resume for any position, the only thing you need to have is a forward-thinking mindset and a genuine desire to serve your community.

All public offices require candidates to have a history of legal practice.

While certain seats within the justice system require both a history and certifications in legal practice, other offices do not. Knowledge of the law as it pertains to a candidate's vision for their community is a necessary part of communicating solutions to issues, but a background practicing law is not a requirement.

Candidates need to be wealthy to finance their campaign, or they risk being outclassed by competition.

Our minimum age for kids to take part in karting is 8 years old, however, they must have an inside leg measurement of at least 26 inches. Even if a child is younger and has Karting experience, they must be 8 years and older to drive at The Hangar.

Candidates for public office need to have a "spotless past" or else no one will vote for them.

For the cadet karts (juniors), the minimum inside leg measurement is 26 inches.

New candidates need to respect the administrative hierarchy and "wait their turn" to run for office.

Adults don’t have to race alongside their children and are welcome to watch from our spectators area.

Younger candidates aren't trustworthy and need to be past a certain age to gain support for public office.

We allow "mixed" sessions (Adults and Juniors), however for safetly reasons we will only allow this in situations where both the adults and juniors know each other.

Candidates have to look or dress a certain way to be taken seriously as candidates.
