Background checks go two ways: in addition to checking members of your campaign team, candidates will need to make sure their background checks are available.
A LexisNexis Full File Disclosure, which is similar to credit report data, reveals information about your professional and financial life. It may contain if you own a home and how much you paid for it, past locations, professional licenses, liens, judgments, and other information. You can see your report here. You’ll need to provide identifying information, including your Social Security number, date of birth, street address and ZIP code.
